Text Box: BUILDING HIS KINGDOM Text Box: On April 17, 2008, the church closed on the property on Immokalee Road and a Capital Campaign Fund was initiated. On May 3, 2008, the church held its first Work Day at the new property. On June 15, 2008, the congregation held a Celebration Sunday, when members presented their pledges for the “Building His Kingdom” capital campaign. After the service, the congregation met at the new property for a congregational picnic. November, 2008 UPDATE!!! Progress continues to be made in our building process. Currently, we are waiting for a determination from the South Florida Water Management Division to agree there are no wetlands on the property site. We are also in the process of having a traffic survey and other items completed that will be necessary to make application for a Condition Use Permit from Collier County. The approval of the Conditional Use Permit will take anywhere from six to nine months. Patience is a virtue for building in Collier County.
